Something tells me that Critical works just like a silencer, only without the silencer! Here's how I did the math...
Normal Damage X 2 (critical hit!) + (Normal Damage X Critical %) = 80+ total damage
Normal Damage for AKS is 30-35.
(32 X 2) + (32 X .5)
(64) + (16) = 80
So my guess is that Critical equals 50 % more critical hit damage. Your damage calculations is wrong =)
Really it seems like this:
normaldamage = random(mindamage..maxdamage)
totalcriticaldamagepower = weaponcriticalpower + unitstatscritpower + artifactcritmodificator + silencer + ... )
damage = normaldamage + normaldamage * totalcriticaldamagepower
But enemy unit gives damage * (100% - EnemyDamageResistance)
(EnemyDamageResistance = armor + stats + ... )
So, for AK critical damage can be so different....
