First outpost golden statue taken!
Congratulations to Voltron clan for taking first golden outpost statue by controling 12 outposts at the same time. It was a hard task, but they accomplished it successfuly. Well done!

Update 04-Oct-2011 - New outfit & Hall of Fame changes
- New outfit added - Male: Sombrero hat, Pilot's hat, Balance T-shirt, Wolf's mark T-shirt; Female: Violet top, Shar T-shirt.
- Hall of Fame system changed: now bonus points for artifacts only given for artifacts used in battle and according to attrition lost in battle. Thus durable artifact will bring only tiny bonus and ageless artifacts will bring no bonus in fame battles. - Hall of Fame reset this week. - Right click on character list will put hotlinked player's name into input box, not just regular name. - Other GUI improvements and fixes.

- New female Pricess Haircut added in shop.

Update 23-Aug-2011 - Lots of optimizations and tweaks
- In tournament now you have to pick 3 times out of 5 instead of 2 out of 3. This should allow people from some specific time zones to arrange tournament games more comfortably. To test this feature we've launched test tournament for levels 40-50.
- Clan activity now is divided by number of clan members (but no less than 10). This will help truly active clans to compete against not-so-active clans that have a lot of members. - Clan medals Rage Gold and Holy Greatness now require 15 outpost victories instead of 20. - Clan will not receive more Fame bonus points than he has regular fame points. - Fame battles now bring double as much points for bringing arts. - Input line improvements (bugs fixed, Ctrl+Z/Ctrl+Y added, etc) Read More...

Update 12-Jul-2011 - Major clan system changes - Fame, Activity, Outpost
Hall of Fame changes:
- Now fame points are calculated differently. Same group battles now bring same points as battles with other groups, however there is a bonus pool for top groups A-D (20k points in group A, 15k in group B, 10k in group C, and 5k in group D). - Clans in group compete for the part of this bonus pool. When they play fame battle against each other, winner gets 3 share points and looser gets 1 share point. By the end of the week bonus pool divided between clans according to their share points. - If by the end of the week 2 clans in the same group haven't played fame battle, the winner and looser will be determined automatically according to their position in agression top list. - Hall of Fame now shows potential bonus points from bonus pool which are changed during week as clans play Fame Battles against each other and change position in agression top list. Activity changes: - Clan activity is calculated differently now. Activity points will be awarded to clan after player joins clan and starts getting exp being part of the clan instead of just adding to clan all player activity points earned from the beginning of the week. Outpost changes: - Outpost medal changes: to get Domination Gold Medal now it is required to do 15 battles for week instead of 30, and 12 instead of 20 for Silver. - Outpost Domination Cups now require to hold outpost for 20/40/60 days instead of 10/20/30. - Fixed bug that allowed to attack outposts twice a day when server was shut down. Hail to the Champions!
Monday was an important day in GUNROX. On Monday the first gold statue were acquired and it was acquired by Toxicity clan. They've got the gold statue for holding top 3 spot in Hall of Fame for 50 weeks, now that's quite a number!
GUNROX administration congratulate Toxicity and wish them not to stop on this, but get some other golden statues as well ☺ P.S. Other clans still have a chance - outpost golden statue is not that long to get 😉

Flacker weapon added
New weapon added which requires 120 points in Shotgun skill.
Aggression points calculation also changed a bit, now attacker will get +100 agression points for attack alone. Also victim of the attack will suffer all damage done to himself and red zone as clan agression points decrease.

Update 13-Apr-2011 - Balance and security changes
- SINCE THIS UPDATE YOU CANNOT ENTER THE GAME USING LOGIN NAME, ENTER EMAIL ADDRESS AND PASSWORD INSTEAD. If you enter login name and password, you cannot play the game, but you will see your email address (this can be done only once, if you enter the game with login and haven't memorized or wrote down your email address, your account is lost unless you have security code).
- Rocket launcher damage increased - Minigun, Vulcan, and Avenger close damage increased - Hatchet, Butcher's Cleaver, and Katana critical chance increased - From now on when clan leader quits from attack, he is kicked from clan too (clan owner can set new leader). - Body part cannot be used to attack tournament participant if his tournament battle is scheduled within next 60 minutes. Update 04-Apr-2011 - Accounts merging
We've added ability to merge several accounts into one, if you have secret security codes to both of them. To do so, click "Change password" or "Change email" in startup loader window and then select last option in the opened menu. Security code is the code that was emailed to you when you confirmed your e-mail address for the first time. If you haven't saved that code, you cannot join accounts, sorry.
Also from now on you have to enter the game using e-mail and password. Entering with login/password is still supported until 15th of April, however is considered deprecated and the game is not guaranteed to work properly (might be buggy). Login/password is still there mainly so you can enter and change your email if you forgot it. Other changes: - ability to change player without closing the game (when you select "quit", it quits to the player selection screen). - fixed: when account was locked, charge button didn't work. - other minor changes and fixes.

Update 16-Mar-2011 - Security update
As of 16-Mar-2011 we are using new login system to access GUNROX.
In order to enter the game instead of your nickname and password you are now required to enter your email address and GUNROX password (not password to your email!!!). For now you can still enter using your nickname instead of email, but that option is available for a limited time for people that do not remember their email so you can enter with nickname to change your lost or forgotten email address to a new one. (When you enter account with nickname instead of email address there is a warning that reminds your email address associated with your account). In the next updates we will add ability to join several accounts on the same email address and password if you know security keys to both accounts. This way it will be easier to create and manage accounts as you will not be required to create many new email addresses.

Update 21-Feb-2011 - Fast reconnect and new outfit
New fast reconnect feature added. Now when you are disconnected all you need is to enter password again and you will be thrown back to the game (no more going back to loader, loading the game up again) - should help older and slower PCs.
Also now you can put body parts on sale to Market (Body parts will be personal after next update). New outfit added: red shirt, chess figure shirt, UK shirt (male), polka red-dot dress (female), star warrior helmet, elite cowboy hat (both).

Update 09-Feb-2011 - Explosive update
- Rocket weapons damage increased
- New perks added: explosive damage resistance x4, available on levels 10, 20, 30, 40. Reduces damage done but splashes from offensive weapons (Rockets, Grenades, 40mm charges), has no effect on mines, direct hit shots, critical shots. - Added paid option to increase clan size: +3 extra slots cost 20k/30k/40k each. Update 21-Jan-2011 - Clan awards and clan perks added [beta]
Beta version of clan awards and clan perks added today. There might be bugs, however it is now time to fight for awards to earn Clan Perks and other bonuses. Top 10 places of each list: activity, aggression, Hall of Fame will bring you prizes by the end of the weak. Winning tournaments and capturing Outposts will bring medals for your clan too. Oh and clan that spends a lot of Enkord Cash will also be awarded by the end of each week.
