Penske	allow all levels to play in Beginners Quarter new players don't play for more than a couple minutes to an hour, typically. why? a major reason is because they cant find a game or no one is online. even if someone is online, there's a maximum of 3-6 people in Beginners so it gives them the perception that the game is dead and they log off soon. Removing the level restriction from Beginners Quarter gives a better first impression for noobs because they instantly see more than a handful of people are online. Does this mean that Lost Beach's big, consistent population is suddenly going to be in Beginners? Probably not, Lost will always be the hotspot, but it will be significantly more than there is now (probably doubled or tripled). Noobs will get to see clan logos in the sidebar, higher levels, ask questions to big levels which creates more discussion/relationships between players. You know, the stuff that keeps players coming back. There are 2 50x50 maps, 2 40x40 maps, 2 30x30 maps, 1 45x45 map. If Gunrox 2 ever happens, this leaves you 1 more potential map to develop to pair with Clover Quarter which works out nicely. But why have you allowed only 1 30x30 map (which is by far the most popular mapsize) for the entire game? It doesnt make sense to me and I don't see what good reason there is for putting a cap on Beginners. Just for the noobs to sit around in and talk about how no one is on? Remove the level restriction! This is a very small change that could make a good impact for the health of the new playerbase without significantly altering how game are played, the economy, clans, fames, etc. 6 years ago Quote	6 years ago Quote

Penske	Reply to berserker Good idea, we will think about it. while the topic of beginners quarter is here, consider removing this type of closed backyard fence from the map generator and always allow 2 entrances to the mushroom home. i never felt this trapped fence enhanced the flow of a match, it is always really good for 1 player and really bad for the other. and this box is always impossible to get beginners quarter mushroom house fence closed open.jpg 5 years ago Quote	5 years ago Quote
