How bout if after someone takes damage, they leave a blood trail to help track them if they try to run and hide

It may ruin their possibility to survive and reverse the battle.
or add some perk able to stop bleeding after using a medic kit.

Can't you tell the difference between cartoon shooting and blood-n-gore skirmish?

I get it, you want the game to look "cute", and there is nothing wrong with it. I was just amused when gunrox was called non-violent, is all.

You know... there is an interesting way to get around the blood aspect. One game I ran into over the web called "Urban Dead" has a very interesting ability for zombies that allows them to track down survivors by telling them where they went (even though this is a browser web-page game!) since they refreshed the screen last.

We could do it like that with a perk that gives a rough outline of the path a unit they've seen last. I say it shouldn't be 100% reliable, because it'll make life way too easy for campers.
