Crouching and prone position options are a staple of any tactical game like Gunrox but for some reason were not included....They should really be put into the game otherwise Gunrox will just be a camp/leapfrog around corners game for the most part. Referred to as "corner waiters" by the community.
Standing- Movement cost 1 AP no bonuses
Crouch- Movement cost 2 AP 25% accuracy bonus, defense bonus behind "low cover" such as trees that can be shot through.
Prone- Movement cost 4 AP 25% accuracy bonus, cant shoot or be shot at or seen through "low cover" such as trees. +50% defense at "far" range -50% bonus at "close" range
Changing stance could cost like 4 AP and there could be perks to reduce the cost of changing stance or moving in crouch/prone even. This would add a lot to the game, beacuse if someone is prone behind a tree they could pop up to crouch, shoot and go prone again providing cover, but then the other player might be able to rush them and catch them laying down for increased damage. As it is corner playing seems to be the best strategy and this would change that up, making other positions viable.
