Just an idea for the future but how about some non weapon artifacts.
maybe a health pack that heals 100 hp and needs no healing skill
or some binoculars with a radius of 10
one off mines that need double the skill to detect and do xtra damage
and grenades that always hit the spot u target and do xtra damage
**************************************************
Just some quick ideas, I`m sure u lot can think up some more
:D:cool::D

those numbers are a bit overkill - but an increase in 10% in health or damage is a viable idea for artifacts...

Hmm, a nice idea, but I don't think admins are going in that direction yet(adding anything that requires coding basically).
But a nice idea never the less, and as for them being "too strong" - artifact finding rate is very low as it is, not like someone is gonna be invincible from now on because he found an extra damage grenade or bandage.

Most of these are one shot items and would be very rare so the numbers i gave would not be overkill. Some of the weapon artifacts i`ve seen are much more powerful and can be used multiple times.
10% is nothing an extra 3hp:( on a 30hp medipack I regen 12
10% on a 100dmg is 110 dmg wow big difference:(
I was looking more 50% on dmg.
Some of the artifacts can kill u with one shot why not have an artifact health pack that heals most of ur hitpoints? its called balance.

We rejected this idea at the very beginning because we felt that loosing such a rare item per single use is too much of a let down.

How about a rare medi-pack that only heals for half the normal amount but doesn't get consumed. So infinite uses but not very effective.
Otherwise I see your point I think they would just turn into collection items.

Yes it would be powerful but not in the middle of combat, if you can't safely hide and heal it would provide no advantage. If your opponent has an extra AP then you do you could easily be defeated. I don't see it as more powerful then even average weapon artifacts. Such as the blinding guns or the ones that always do max damage.

So you don't see how it can be abused???
What if the other guy just decided to run and hheal every time he is close to being dead?

Bulls-eye TheOne! It's basically an extreme version of regeneration... only it chews up AP at a high rate. It's OK if the unit didn't have many skill points invested in "healing"... but what if it was a freaking "medic" that had it with the "Doctor" perk? Then he could literally heal is mates all the time for higher amounts of HP!
