View Full Version : Solutions for games that are unfair

Many people quit on each other in team games which leaves it unfair, like for example 2X2, and suddenly it turns into a 2X1... My solution is that when the player that leaves the game, don't kill his characters, instead use an AI system to takeover so it won't be unfair for the player, but if it's too much to write an AI script, then just give that one player total control of all the characters under his "allies" that quit... :D
P.S. - some of my friends has come in with some ideas about "EXP deduction" for leaving a game :p

So what you are saying that if one has to leave early... the other player can fill in! I like that idea, but he should only be able to control the other units when it's that player's turn to go normally, no using six or more units in one turn!

not in one turn, two separate turns, everyting like before quit of player
i have written same idea in other topic :)

I think the quiters must loss more than rank points. The characters must stand (stucked) in the game for a few rounds and the state (quit) shown on the screen until released.
This way, other players could see and hit them for, e.g., 3 turns...
Before quit, the player must receive a warning msg.
Nobody could like to quit game and annoy other good players.
Despite of quiters (negative aspect), I like Gunrox. :D
Spread this idea. Maybe it comes implemented to improve Gunrox.

You already said that in the other thread. Flooding forums with cross-posts won't bring you anywhere.

The whole AI deal didn't sound pleasant to me, I've seen AI fail too many times. Buuut... When someone leaves it would be definately great if others could join in place of him. Or atleast when they quit their characters would stay on the battlefield to be used as meatshields (bwa ha ha ;O) ... Okay I wasn't thaaat serious with the last one, but it's better than nothing.
