Spotting enemies.

There are some occasions when you have got one guy too close to the other..and one of your enemies spot you...

and you dont know which guy of yours was spotted..whererever they are, which may consider different angles and distances..

is there anyway to make it known?

It's tricky, but you'll need to learn the standard sight ranges (try to keep a mental vision circle of each unit that appears). Sometimes it's optics that spot you first instead or a unit with the Sniper Rifle specialty perk that boosts sight range.
