need to decrease the power of punch

Its seems that punch have the power of knife and i think its worng, the punch need to do max 12 damage Life points. becuase in this statue punch are better from knife allso from pistols and allso in some cases better from shotgun.

You also have to consider the fact that punching is very inaccurate... it's scratch rating is quite high. When it was better than a shotgun...? Probably only when the HP of the target is near depleted and you're low on AP.

it couldn possibly be as strong as a gun...! the damage is almost the same..

BUT did you know that in real life accuracy of pistol used in melee is about 5%? that means you need to fire 20 times to harm guy standing next to you in fight :D

One question... what was the skill rating of the guy that was firing? From point blank range... you should be able to shoot someone that's trying to land an uppercut... or you shouldn't be trying to fire a sidearm. That and a pistol is kinda hard to use as a melee weapon.

that is most of the time true.. but depends on 3 things..:

1. shooter accuracy
2. Despair of the situation
3. Pistol type.


I ve been a lot to shooting academy and...at the 1st time when people shoot, a standardised 20m distance paper man as target, they get around 40 shots right out of 55. And they have all the time and pacience of the world...even though the gun is not so accurate. Around 3 or 4 are straight in the heart. the rest is normally on chest...and the errors happen because they cant handle the gun properly yet..so they shake too much

well punching is very innaccurate it is worse when the enemy has like leather or meatal armor shotgun would be the best thing to use or any melee weapons;)

The ONLY reason you would punch instead of using a weapon is when you have "Disarm". The odds of forcing a drop is much higher with punching (providing you land a blow).

look man even in the army they learn how to fight your body parts are also a cold weapons once they have been trained..
