I think each weapons tag should also state how many bullets it will use when you fire.

I agree, its give the player the info how much ammo the gun going to spend

i agree too because you may not have enough ammo if you dont know how much it takes up in one shot

let me make it easier for you
it's not hard to notice.

SMG/assault rifles- 5 bullets per shot
machine guns- 10 bullets per shot
sniper rifles/pistols-the easy one :)

It's actually very easy not to notice how much ammunition some weapons use per shot. I didn't notice how much the SMG or assault rifle used until a couple of weeks after I started playing!
