Been a strategy gamer since nintendo in the 80's(romance of the three kingdoms 1-,nobunga's ambition, shining force for sega blah) and for as long as I remember. :D

I'm just your average joe, sweating for not enough money as a cook. Just gettin by in life. Have a lady here at home I live with and have been dating for almost a year now. Things are working out well enough and I'm content.

Before this I was playing alot of Battle for Wesnoth online, a turn based strategy game that has a more middle ages / d and d feel to it. Its similair to this but not 3d and no levels in general. I would have to say its just below this games appeal and definetly worth a look if you cant find a game here:p (alot more english speaking players lol and always someone on to play with) Just ingeneral a great game and it allows player made add ons/maps and the add ons are accessible in the gui of the game itself no web searching or sign up for the game involved. Enter your password and name and play easy as that. Also its a open source and it would be a good idea for the mods here to check out that source code perhaps to incorporate into this game. Thiers alot of the same concepts in that game as this and alot more that could be done with it. Altogether I would suggest taking a look if your into real turn based strategy as gunrox and battle for wesnoth bring.

I also played Neverwinter Nights online (d and d online game) for about 6 years made every build character wise u can imagine. Was the strongest magi on all the dragonlance servers. And was the reason so many builds got nerfed and were made illegal lol.

Role playing, strategy, and competition are all definetly my favorite aspects of games in general. This game fits all 3 if you really want it too. *smiles*

I'm here to stay, I don't fake and I respect my fellow players and staff. But also I'm not afraid to speak up on the players or mods behalf with my opinon....for it is nuetral and my own indeed. Anyways I'm honest, fair, and enjoy a good challenge if the circumstances are right. So if you feel like a game ask me, but before u do think to yrself. Am I a liar a cheat a greedy player? If so don't bother asking me to play, don't call us we'll call u....*about faces and marches away*

Hey there! my name's David, I'm an almost-adult teen living in the US of A. I'm a bit of a geeky guy, and I'm a very big fan of tactics and strategy material of all sorts (strategy games, airsoft & paintball tactics, board games, strategy books.)

My favorite computer games are Age of Empires II, Team Fortress 2, and X-com: UFO unknown.

I like science fiction, was introduced to the genre by Star Wars (hence the screen name) but now I'm more into Robert A Heinlein, Orson Scott Card, and Louis McMaster Bujold's books than I am Star Wars. (though Empire Strikes Back will always be awesome.)

Don't expect me to be on Gunrox too often during the summer, as I have a job working at a summer camp with nothing but a dial-up connection, though I will get Saturdays off.

I'm still a Bit green at Gunrox, a level 4 with a slightly positive win/lose record. But I'm learning quickly, and despite earlier losses, I seem to be at the start of a wining streak: 4 victories in a row now.

Hello Schatzy. I too am a recovering alcoholic. I'm 30 as Darken is and I find my self daily in Savannah, GA USA. I have been enjoying Gunrox for about a month now. I'm a lvl 9 and enjoy playing 2x2s and 3x3s with my friends. I was introduced to this style of play from X-com:UFO defence and really enjoy the PVP twist. I am entertained (sometimes annoyed) by other players in Gunrox. I enjoy using artifacts in battle. I don't like to hide the more useful ones. I learned my lesson pretty early. I had a artifact leather jacket and was so scared of losing it, that i never used it. Now i still have it and have horribly out grown it. Now what good did that do me? NONE. Now i like to use my artifacts so even if i lose them, i always hope to recover them in subsequent battles, possibly from someone that took them from the person that i lost it to. That being said, I'm always looking to trade for useful artifacts (magic)<<for those who have no idea what a artifact is :-P. I keep Enkord cash, so if you've been on a losing streek and lost all your equipment or you just want to outfit "A" class. Show me your nice artifact that you want to trade and maybe we can make a deal. I'll see ya'll on the battlescape and good luck to you.
