Nobody is playing. It is too difficult for newbies. I think the EXP for losing games is just too little and this frustrated a lot of people.

You are wrong. This is not a game yet, it's a beta. And there are not many new players here because be do not promote beta, we only need to test it and there are enough players now for us to do that.

Once there going to be release version (hopefully early autumn) we will start promoting it and there gonna be more people to play with. And exp for loosing is just about right.

Yes, this game is still a beta... so it's not a complete game yet. We are still working on this game (and the site they will be seeing when it is finished too) so we won't be promoting this game just yet. When it is "released" though, the promoting will begin, hopefully bringing in more players.

I agree, in the end losing a game is no less than a huge waste of time, since the exp earned for losing a game is close to nothing.

Then win) what's a point of giving xp for losing?? What would be the point of winning if even if you lose you get the same amount of xp)

If you take a look at Counter Strike, you will understand that the success of a game comes form 2 things basically.
1. Newbies can have fun and they could kill very experienced players sometimes. This is how a game appeals to all the people.
2. Skills and experience do count, and you can be respected if you are really good at this game.

Unfortunately, the first point is way more important than the first one.
Right now, people are so afraid of losing. Therefore, fewer games are going on.

I think the main problem in that is the ammount of weapons available , you can only lose about 3 games in a row before your total storage is empty ..

Also starting with weapons after getting enough skill points gives people a boost to play, because they aren't going to lose any weapons.

And to be honest, people who are not playing because they are afraid to lose aren't playing it smart, because from every game you lose you will get stronger as you know what you did wrong ;)

Will be free, but you are being able to get some PLUS PACK with some special things.

josepet probably talking about Cash Shop where you can buy regular weapons along as premium features like inreased storate size, perk and skill reset, etc.
You will be able to buy unique outfit elements also (uniqe clothes, haircuts, etc.)
However you do not need to pay to have fun with the game.

It is also worth noting that the special features that can be purchased will NOT affect direct gameplay. The only thing that the cash shop can really help you with is with the regular weapons in case you go into a slump. However... an expanded storage does sound like a helpful idea (the normal 50 slots can fill up faster than you know it!).

Yes. You also will NOT be able to purchase artifacts in Cash Shop.

Hey Bers, what about giving free Xdays of Premium if you invite X new playets? Will be nice :)

There definitely will be some kind of referrer program one day.

I wouldn't think that a "subscription" style of premium feature would be a good idea for Gunrox though. Having to pay every month for an expanded storage would be bad enough... but losing the items beyond the 50th after the timer expired would be awful!

I think it can be done by registering another account to increase your storage. :D

:p Unfortunately... THAT technique is considered to be "cheating". Unless the two characters are not being controlled by the same person. The details on what the cash shop will offer is still sketchy though.

I have to admit that, with the addition of the shop and the reduction of the XP rewards for losing, it seems there a push to force people to pay for weapons so that they can be competitive enough to play after losing a couple of games. That's definitely not fun.

Neither is spending an hour in an intense game, losing, then finding out you only earned 29 XP. Just 4,000 more XP to go for your next level! (or about 150 more games since you now start with no weapons)

And XP bonuses for starting a game with your players equipped? That stacks the game against the unlucky or less-skilled players even more!

Bring back the fun, please!

Gunrox must be more advertised to gain more players (its just a matter of time), keep calm and dont be inpatient, nothing comes easy in this life :)

Speaking of advertising, the Enkord e-newsletter states that this game has been officially released (I do subscribe to it). Advertising should be coming soon... I think.
