View Full Version : Is it a fake?

You are starting battle (1v1, 2v2, 3v3 - doesn't matter). After a fierce battle, your unit has last enemy soldier with minimal hp in shooting range, and enough ap to launch one shot. Victorious player asks defeated one if he surrenders. If defeated admits surrender, victorious player is gathering loot in few turns, while defeated is waiting. Victorious player is killing last one from the enemy soldier, and after game gives his opponent part of his gear back.
I saw few times such actions. Yup, it is risky for winner, because he must trust that his opponent wont take a chance to kill his unit, but it is a winner risk :)
The question is: If the mod will enter the game, and see one almost dead player skipping his turns, and the other one looting everything from corpses, will it be treated as a fake fight?
That is a good question and I dont know what mods think of it. In my opinion that isn't faking, and the game should allow a round after game for looting anyway.

yes, he ll ban : )
but that situation often happens, we did something similar even with mod friends, but with some important differences
if victorious has wounded units he had better loot with his healthy units, and loser should do his best on killing : )
i mean there r lots of games played with agreement on return weapons but they do it fairly (no skipping turn ) : )

Late - your idea with additional turn sounds great.
It would be easy to implement, and it would be really fair.
I agree, that situation decribed by emu is a fake fight - no doubts that it shouldn't take place, but don't see any chance to restrict / punish something like this.

Fake fight is a fight when both sides knows result before the game started. Allowing other side to loot most goods after fair fight cannot be called fake fight for sure.
So I am still waiting for answer from any admin :)

Admins frown upon this, and action may be taken. Admins don't watch entire games, and I wouldn't want an admin to just get into my game seeing me do this. It is best avoided altogether.
The general rule of thumb to playing Gunrox... If it feels wrong to do, it probably is. If you have to ask about "early conceding", it probably isn't ok.

Let me write it again - I think that additional round after killing all enemies would be nice change in game.
Enkord... you could implement it easily, and you can earn from it even more cash - sell this like you do with access to player statistics.
Easy money.
