I think a good mine would be like a search droid for example: search mine: damage :0 but it has a 4 or 5 sight radius but doesnt blow up or kill just sees. Another thing is if you have a gun for example an aksu and you know your enemy is behind bush you should be able to shoot even without seeing them. Like a grenade realy you click on grenade and it gets thrown, same thing with guns.:D

That might be good for a perk to allow blind-firing, but allowing it straight up is going to be very confusing for the newbies just starting up.

IMHO the concept that "you cannot shoot what you cannot see" for direct damage weapons is a good one and should be kept as such. It contributes both to the balance and (mostly) to the tactical aspects of the game.

I agree with Incognito. It is not natural, that you cannot shoot what you do not see (e.g. towards mentioned bushes), but it makes game more complex and gives more reason for grenades and rocket launchers. It also gives reason for perks like "Gunrun" - i.e. for those increasing movement points (you use additional MP to search enemy to be able to shoot with other members of your team).

That thing called Sensor and been implemented in the game already even before beta. We just locked it out for now - will re-enable it later.
